OSHA Issues Direct Final Rule Revising Beryllium Standard
Enforcement Delayed for Certain Provisions
On May 4, OSHA issued a direct final rule providing clarification for aspects of the beryllium standard which will be effective on July 4th, 2018.
OSHA also plans on enforcing certain requirements of the beryllium standard, but will delay enforcement of other ancillary standards for general industry. Although, OSHA is planning a proposal to extend the compliance date for those provisions.
