2018 United Contractors Scholarship Throw Down for Education

ORCIG is proud to support United Contractors (UCON) Scholarship Program. Since 1994, the program has awarded over $380,000 in scholarships to future leaders of the construction industry: students who are affiliated with UCON and those who are majoring in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. The Scholarship Program raises money through activities such as the UCON Scholarship Throw Down for Education Cornhole Tournament.

ORCIG is participating as a Board Sponsor in the tournament taking place May 10 at Concannon Vineyard in Livermore, CA. “We are proud to be part of United Contractors Association, an organization that supports growth and safety in the construction industry,” says Crystal Chang, Executive Underwriter from ORCIG’s San Francisco regional office. “This specific event is special because it encourages our youth to pursue a career in construction that is always growing and evolving.”
