OSHA Inspections

Prepare and Plan Ahead

OSHA is responsible for enforcing occupational safety and health regulations in the workplace. Their methods for fulfilling this responsibility include unannounced workplace inspections, issuing citations and imposing penalties for violations of government safety regulations. Naturally, it is impossible for OSHA to inspect every single workplace so they have prioritized scenarios which include imminent danger situations, severe injuries and complaints from employees. It is highly recommended to plan ahead for OSHA inspections by developing preparation plans and focusing on proactive safety programs that identify and prevent workplace hazards.
